Finding My Way

This painting was inspired by a series of hikes through Gatorhook Strand during the winter of 2021. Although this piece looks “loose” and quickly done, I worked and reworked it for weeks trying to capture the ethereal sense I feel when hiking in Big Cypress Preserve.
