This painting is one of several in a series exploring a new technique of mark-making with multiple mediums on archival-grade papers. I’m in a pursuit to capture the timeless beauty of Big Cypress Preserve and the Everglades playing with the line between abstract and representational work. I hope to call attention to the quiet, the ignored and important around us that we take for granted.
